Looks like TT was feeling crafty and decided to take a stab at making their own CCW shoulder bag. My first impressions of the Crossfire are that it is lightweight and most of the holding space seems to be depth rather than the other dimensions. The adjustable shoulder strap comes with a pad that is a nice mix of non-slip and breathable mesh. On the back of the whole pack is a large dose of mesh with padding to help with comfort and airflow. As with most meshes of this style, keep hook velcro away from it as it will tear its ass on up! For extra mounting options there is PALS webbing on the upper ends of the platform and on the sides of the compartments. They aren't huge so only expect to attach pouches that fit 1 PALS channel x 2 rows. Making good use of the side PALS, Duraflex Slick clips are used to attach a removable waist strap to assist in securing. Hence the removable aspect, you can just take these off if you don't ever see yourself using them.

Camelbak teamed up Mystery Ranch on this one offering their unique trizip zipper opening layout. The attention to detail on the small features really makes this pack stand out as a quality pack. Starting off I'll note the Futura Harness is extra heavy duty offering loads of padding and support. Feel free to put whatever the hell you want in this pack since the harness strap system is built tough enough to hold loads usually applied to much larger packs.

WATERSHED Military Duffle DryBag

I'm not sure of the exact name of this one, but is basically a military version of Watershed's civilian duffle designs. This one is a pretty nice general purpose size for keeping a set of clothes or a set of electronics nice and dry. Speaking of electronics, a sweet insert was included to offer the option to keep things padded and soft inside.

Jax Pax Packs: Bug Out Belt

You probably haven't heard of Jax Pax, but I do enjoy showing off quality gear from lessor known folks. This setup here is pretty unique in which most Bug out / Bail out rigs are shoulder bags, however this unit went with a belt + integrated thigh rig setup. It can look a little wacky at first, but the big advantage is that one can run with this rig on and still access the majority of the pockets.

MAXPEDITION KODIAK GEARSLINGER

The Kodiak is basically a big version of the Sitka, so check out the review above if you get lost here. As a starting note, I took off the Y-strap as shown in my pictures. Fans of this strap need not worry as it is included. For those running out of room on the Stika, Mister Kodiak here doesn't mess around with almost double the cubic inch capacity. Features wise almost everything is the same, done bigger, until you get to the interior.

MAXPEDITION - New Colors

Maxpedition has all the major tactical colors covered, but have recently started to offer some interesting mixes. Some include: Khaki / Foliage, Black / Foliage, Black / Khaki, and Orange / Foliage. As a sneak peak I believe I even saw a Blue / Foliage at shotshow. I personally really like the Khaki / Foliage where the colors appear to blend with each other. The black mixes also look pretty tough and Woa! man is the Orange series easy to see. Rescue folks and hunters will likely appreciate the hi-viz. I splurged for the big version here, but note an 8"x10" version is also available. This pistol case is a straightforward, but solid design. The exterior front has loop velcro area and a generally clean back with extra D-rings for optional shoulder straps. Substantial handles are integrated with padding in the grip area.

MAXPEDITION SITKA GEARSLINGER

Maxpedition keeps em coming with further development in the popular gearslinger series. The Sitka first comes off to me as an evolution of mixing Typhoon and Lunada concepts. The result is a single strap smaller sized backpack that can be easily accessed when shifted from back to frontal position. Features are certainly abundant so I'll try not to bore you out going overkill with detail.
